East Tallinn Central Hospital hosts visitors from U.S. Embassy on 3 June

On 3 June 2022, the defence cooperation department of the U.S. Embassy in Tallinn and the United States European Command visited the amputee rehabilitation department to learn about the centre’s renovation project established in 2014 as part of the United States Department of Defense Humanitarian Assistance Programme.

The purpose of the visit was to find out how the project was carried out by the representatives of the United States of America and to see how the department works on a daily basis and meets its objectives.

Visiting patients allowed again from 6 June

From 6 June, visiting hospitalised patients at East Tallinn Central Hospital is allowed again during prescribed visiting hours (from 15:00-19:00 Mon-Fri and from  12:00-19:00 Sat-Sun). The maximum permitted visiting time is limited to 15 minutes, with one visitor allowed at a time. As an exception, visiting patients in the Women's Clinic is still not permitted.

Only persons without symptoms of respiratory disease may visit patients. Visitors are required to wear a protective mask when visiting patients.
