Diagnostic Clinic
The diagnostic clinic supports decisions necessary for health with quick and competent diagnostic information both in case of illness and in preventive activities. We use up-to-date equipment and constantly improve our knowledge.
The offices and workspaces of the Diagnostic Clinic are located in different units of the hospital. In total, we perform over two million different studies every year. The clinic employs 235 people. We consider the competence of our employees to be of the utmost importance – this is maintained by yearly follow-up courses. We also train doctors, nurses and residents. Our employees are taking part in scientific and clinical trials. They participate actively in the work of professional societies and thereby in shaping the national organisation of labour in specialised medicine.
We cooperate with the University of Tartu, Tallinn University of Technology, Tallinn and Tartu Health Colleges and Tallinn high-schools regarding training courses and research work.
