East Tallinn Central Hospital surprises mothers of premature babies
The purpose of the World Prematurity Day on 17 November is to bring attention to families with premature babies and their concerns, support networks and their ability to cope in everyday life. The neonatology department of the Women’s Clinic of East Tallinn Central Hospital organised a special day for the mothers of premature babies and invited politicians to a round table discussion to raise awareness of problems and find solutions.
Renovated Centre of Emergency Medicine now open
The remodelled Centre of Emergency Medicine at East Tallinn Central Hospital was opened today, on 14 July. The Centre of Radiology, which plays an important role in providing fast and comfortable services to patients coming to the hospital with traumatic injuries, was also renovated.
East Tallinn Central Hospital’s Centre of Emergency Medicine at Ravi 18 closed on 14 July due to relocation
On Thursday, 14 July 2022, the Centre of Emergency Medicine of East Tallinn Central Hospital at Ravi 18 will relocate from its temporary container campus in the courtyard of the hospital to newly completed premises. As a result, the Centre of Emergency Medicine will be closed for 12 hours from 8 in the morning. Patients with eye problems are exempt and can turn to the Eye Clinic of East Tallinn Central Hospital for emergency appointments during relocation.
Design of Tallinn Hospital continues
Mayor of Tallinn Mihhail Kõlvart reiterated in today's press conference that the city is intending to finalise the design of the hospital and will begin searching for alternative sources of funding.
