East Tallinn Central Hospital to take part in Health Fair on 7-8 May

The Cluster Fair will take place on Tallinn Song Festival Grounds on 7-8 May and Tallinn health care institutions, including East Tallinn Central Hospital, will be contributing to one section of the event – the Estonian Health Fair.

The hospital is represented with its bus for diagnosing child myopia which helps detect problems with children’s vision as early as possible. Counsellors from the Youth Clinic as well as breastfeeding counsellors will be available at East Tallinn Central Hospital’s tent. Head of nursing of the Clinic of Medical Rehabilitation will be on hand to give advice on the use of foot supports and introduce the rehabilitation methods used at the clinic. You can also get advice on various medical examinations and packages. 

In addition, the Health Fair will feature the mental health tent of Tallinn Psychological Emergency Support, MTÜ Eluliin will introduce the activities of their emotional support line, and the Estonian Cancer Society will be present with buses for screening breast, prostate and skin cancer and a hepatitis C diagnostic bus.
