East Tallinn Central Hospital to introduce hospital work at career seminar
Promoted by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund, the webinar 'Career Stop. Medical workers as the heroes of our time' will take place on 23 September from 16:30-18:00 with a focus on medicine. Liisa Vipp, general surgeon at East Tallinn Central Hospital, will talk to young people looking to make career choices about work in the hospital and the associated daily challenges and achievements.
In addition, the Tallinn Career Centre of the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund features an exhibition put together by East Tallinn Central Hospital to communicate the experience of various specialists and young people who have completed a work placement in the hospital. The exhibition includes hospital interior and medical equipment. This will allow young people to examine the actual hospital environment and consider whether they want to choose a hospital career as a nurse, midwife, bioanalyst or radiology technician. The exhibition will be open until the end of the year.
The seminar will be streamed live on the Facebook page of the Career Centre and can be viewed later at any time. Further information on the seminar is available on the website minukarjaar.ee by clicking here. Tallinn Career Centre is located at Tartu mnt 80.
