Individual foot orthotics

Individual orthotics provide relief for various foot ailments.

We use the most modern technology in the manufacture of orthotics, which ensures the best fit for shoes. Accurate analysis of load distribution on the feet, modern materials and new technology make it possible to manufacture individual orthotics based on the patient’s needs.

In order to purchase orthotics, contact the reception of a prosthetist, who will conduct a static and dynamic load distribution study of the sole of the foot on a special walkway. The results obtained from the study are analysed with the corresponding program, on the basis of which a digital image of the orthotic is created. The image obtained from the analysis is modified according to the characteristics and needs of the patient’s foot.

The orthotics are thin, so they fit into many shoes and can be washed in the washing machine. We also make orthotics for children from the age of 7.

The orthotics are made on-site in the Magdaleena unit of East Tallinn Central Hospital at Pärnu mnt 104.

The service is chargeable, see the price list for details. Based on the prescription on the medical device card, the discount is 90%. A prescription for the need for orthotics can be issued by a family doctor or a specialist.
