Visiting patients permitted once again
Visitors are free to see hospitalised patients at East Tallinn Central Hospital during prescribed visiting hours, but some restrictions remain.
Visitors must meet one of the following criteria: be completely vaccinated against COVID-19; have had COVID-19 within the last eight months; have tested negative for COVID-19 using a PCR test within the last 24 hours (you must bring a corresponding certificate). The maximum visitation time is 15 minutes. Patients are allowed to see one visitor at a time. Visitors are required to wear a protective mask when visiting patients.
In other cases (if the patient is in a critical condition), visiting is only possible upon prior agreement with the attending doctor. Visitors will still not be allowed at the Women’s Clinic.
Wearing a protective mask is still mandatory in outpatient offices/testing. Patients will be handed protective masks by employees of the corresponding office. Everybody entering the hospital building must disinfect their hands. People displaying symptoms characteristic of viral infection (coughing, rhinitis, fever) are not allowed to enter the hospital premises.
Please adhere to the 2+2 rule when moving in hospital corridors and other common areas.
