New more convenient booking system for family school
In August, the Women’s Clinic at East Tallinn Central Hospital launched a new user-friendly booking system for the family school, aiming to offer participants a more convenient and faster registration process for classes and lectures.
“When creating the new system, we focused on making information about family school activities easy to find and making registration for classes and lectures as easy as possible,” says Hanna-Maria Trei, midwife and head of the family school.
“We are pleased that our long-standing dream of a convenient and accessible booking solution for the family school has come true, allowing visitors to easily and quickly sign up for interesting family school lectures and events,” says Vivian Arusaar, head of midwifery.
The new booking system includes several innovations. The most significant of these is the option to pay for a class or lecture at the time of registration. This means that visitors no longer have to rush to the reception desk or wait in line before the class begins. Users can keep track of their existing bookings on their profile, and automatic reminders help them remember upcoming events. If a family cannot attend at the planned time, the booking can be changed up to three hours before the lecture.
“We invite everyone interested to explore the new system and participate in the family school classes,” encourages Trei. “For more detailed information, we recommend contacting your midwife or following our social media channels.”
The new booking system has already received positive feedback from users. “I am a new mother and I attended the family school’s preparatory lectures before giving birth,” says Sandra, mother of a three-month-old baby. “The new booking system makes it easier to find suitable classes. Thanks to the automatic reminders, I do not forget that I have to start getting ready for class even with a baby at home. It makes life much more comfortable for me!”
If you have any questions about the new booking system, we are happy to help families. “Every system requires some time to get used to, so we encourage you to report any concerns or suggestions via e-mail at perekool [at] itk.ee (perekool[at]itk[dot]ee), so we can address them quickly,” adds Trei.
You can explore the classes and lectures and register directly on the calendar at www.itk.ee/perekool. Additional information can be found on the East Tallinn Central Hospital family school website.
Currently, the new booking system does not include services such as water aerobics for pregnant women, baby swimming or massage. Appointments for these services can be booked at the reception or via the call centre at +372 666 1900.
