03.06.2022
Esimene Tallinna linna päeval sündinud laps nägi ilmavalgust Ida-Tallinna Keskhaiglas

The first child born on Tallinn Day was delivered in East Tallinn Central Hospital. On 15 May, we celebrate Tallinn Day because in 1248, Tallinn was granted town privileges under Lübeck law. With this, Tallinn was admitted to the European league of cities.

The first baby born on Tallinn Day was delivered in East Tallinn Central Hospital on 15 May at 00:17. The little boy was named Christian by mother Brigita and father Carlo. The baby weighed 3862 g and measured 53 cm at birth. Chairman of Tallinn City Council Jevgeni Ossinovski sent flowers, a silver spoon and a greeting card to welcome the new little citizen.

A speedy recovery to the new parents and the baby! May you have a wonderful time growing up together.
