2,793 Babies Born at East Tallinn Central Hospital Last Year
In 2024, 2,793 children were born in the maternity ward of East Tallinn Central Hospital, 1,361 of whom were girls and 1,432 of whom were boys. The number of twins born was 52, which means that a total of 2,741 births were registered.
The highest number of children during the year were born in June and July, with 254 and 258 children, respectively. The lowest number of children were born in December, when the birth rate was 208. In terms of the number of births, last year falls short of 2023, when 306 more children were born.
In terms of days, 13 June, 26 July, and 16 September were the busiest, with 16 children born on each day.
