Custom orthopaedic insoles offer relief from various foot disorders.
The insoles are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology to ensure the best fit of the insoles into the footwear. An accurate analysis of the pressure distribution of the feet, modern materials and new technologies make it possible to manufacture custom insoles tailored to a patient's specific needs.
To purchase orthopaedic insoles, you need to schedule an appointment with a prosthetist who will take static and dynamic measurements of pressure distribution using a special walkway. The results from the measurements are then analysed to create a digital model of the insoles. The model created by this analysis is modified according to the anatomy of the foot and the needs of the patient.
The insoles are thin enough to fit into most shoes. The insoles are machine washable. We also make orthopaedic insoles for children from the age of seven.
The insoles are manufactured on site in the Magdaleena unit of East Tallinn Central Hospital at Pärnu mnt 104.
This is a paid service. See the price list for more details. Patients who have been issued a technical aid certificate are entitled to a state subsidy of 50-90%. If necessary, the prosthetist will issue the technical aid certificate on site.
