Thyroid puncture

Diagnosis and treatment of thyroid nodules.

A thyroid puncture is performed if it is necessary to specify the cellular structure of a nodule located at the thyroid. In the course of a thyroid puncture, we puncture a suspected malignant nodule under ultrasound guidance and send the material for cytological examination.

If necessary, the attending physician will refer you to the examination.
